The biennial art exhibition, ” Manjaree” organized by the Art Society of Devi Balika Vidyalaya was held on 19th of May 2022 at the Wimala De Silva Auditorium, under the patronage of HE Qi Zhenhong, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Sri Lanka.
The Annual Prize Giving for the years 2019 and 2020 was held on the 25th of August at the Wimala De Silva auditorium, appreciating and awarding the numerous talents of our sisters. The chief guest of this occasion was Dr. Sunil Jayantha Nawaratne, the Director General of the National Institute of Education.
The above musical extravaganza was held for the 11th time, on a grand scale at the ‘Nelum Pokuna’ Theatre, under the leadership of Achinthya Chandeepani and Nisadi Sandeera, with the elegant participation of eight leading schools.
Isuri Pabasara Lokupathirage of Devi Balika Vidyalaya became the Island first in the Bio System Technology stream at GCE (A/L) examination, 2021 while Sulakshi Govinna secured the Island third place in the Engineering Technology stream.
